Founded in 1999 as Global Maritime Supply Pty Limited, the company began its journey with one person and a single customer, supplying 2 stroke diesel engine spares to a former licenced engine builder in UK. Over the last quarter century there has been a steady growth in Clients, Products, Industries served and our an experienced workforce. New Engine Building components, Subsea, Oil and Gas products have been added to our product profile and are supplied to our worldwide client base that includes most of the worlds largest Ships Technical Managers.

Providing Technical Service for 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines began in 2006 and our portfolio now includes ME Pneumatic Control systems, Cranes, Steering Gear, Incinerators and the overhaul of Cryogenic Valves on LNG Tankers.

Serious Planning, updating, and reviewing of our procedures and processes took place before applying for Quality Management Certification with LRQA and we were delighted to be approved according to ISO 9001:2015 approval number 00034673 in February 2022

While celebrating our 25-year Anniversary in 2024 the company name was changed to GMS ENGINEERING LIMITED to reflect the company’s renewed commitment to delivering top-tier engineering solutions with technical expertise in the maritime and broader industrial sectors.
